At MDT we offer fun, small group conversation classes in English. Our students are intelligent and are very curious adults, so in class you will lead conversations, while at the same time helping students to improve their English fluency. Furthermore, you can decide when you want to teach and the topics for the conversations.
We offer discussion based classes covering several topics from BBC news, The Economist, Vox, and many more. This gives our customers plenty of options to choose from. We also try very hard to keep our prices reasonable so that we can have a wider audience. This helps us to make sure that you will have enough students to launch your classes.
Students average around 30 years of age, and they are mostly working professionals who are looking for fresh experiences, practicing English in a casual setting, and meeting new friends. Most students want to practice using to English to talk about a topic that they are interested in, therefore stress levels are intentionally low with high opportunity to participate. This is our primary objective.
Teacher diversity is important for us as we offer such a wide range of classes. Our teachers have lots flexibility to determine what they want to teach and when. Some teachers teach 1 class they love, others teach many different classes. Currently, we have 15 teachers with some teaching business and others teaching life skills. We are eager to see what you can offer! Here is the profile of one of our teachers: Douglas' Profile (Mandarin Chinese)
Each class meets once a week for 90 minutes, for a total of 4-6 sessions.
Some teachers teach only 1 class each month, while our best have up to 8!
Hours are flexible, but nights and weekends are the most popular.
MDT can offer work permit, ARC and NHI (only for teachers who teach 14hours+ per week).
